Those Crazy Enviromentalists

Karma is a B*

This just proves that irony is alive and well in today's world. I'm not making light of Madonna's divorce but I am pointing to her rather disrespectful comments about Governor Sarah Palin during a concert. I hate having to refer you to the Huffington Post but the YouTube video has been removed... I wonder why?

What's amazing is the response to her vitriol of some supposed peace loving middle aged skank who wants her husband to share her faith (Kabbalah) while snickering about Palin's. I'm so glad that she can buy nice paintings and charge people hundreds of dollars for her worthless concerts and then make herself feel good by hounding a woman who birthed 5 children and became the governor of a state.

I imagine a conversation between the two women would go:

M: "You're a hypocrite, I hate you, and I make more money"
P: "My body is real, my kids are mine, I actually have a husband, and I'm not a whore. People don't pay to see me or hear me speak."

Chalk one for karma

What really strikes me about stories like this is that liberals are so hellbent on supporting gay rights, religious minority rights, and what not... but when it boils down to it they can't take the easy right over the hard wrong.

I don't care if you're gay. I really don't. But when a human being is assaulted for not having harmed anyone or anything then the assailants deserved to be thrown in jail, given the squares (of bread), water, and given a general direction to Mecca. Maybe a football to play with if they're nice.

What is Kudzu?

"Kudzu is a vine that when left uncontrolled will eventually grow over almost any fixed object in its proximity including other vegetation"

For those that live in the South and have visited Asia where the vine is also prevelent, you have undoubtedly noticed the finest of God's plants. I say that with some jest but its one of those things on this Earth you step back and wonder... "what does it do?" Well kudzu's purpose is to cover up some stuff that gets forgotten and make you look closer to see what it covers up. Its also a stubborn thing and does not go away easily and when you think you got it beat it comes back and makes you take another look at what's underneath. Lastly, its just pretty to look at. My Intent:
Some humor and insight. Like Glenn Beck likes to say "a fusion of enlightenment and entertainment", well I probably can't accomplish what he does but I can offer a view point that is mine alone. I'll discuss just about everything that I can think about that I feel like putting on here when the notion arises. Politics, war, foreign affairs, sports (mainly football), discussing my Beloved Southland, and anything else. My kids might pop up every now and then and in the eventual return to the Middle East, I'll post about that too.
